Babycorn Masala

Baby Corn is this wonderfully crunchy, light vegetable that everybody loves and so this Baby Corn Masala Recipe was an instant hit.A spicy &  tasty main course recipe.You will just love it .

Ingredients:
1.)2 cups roughly chopped babycorn(500gm)
2.)2 tablespoon oil
3.)2 medium onions
4.)2 medium tomatoes
5.)Salt as per taste
6.)1 tsp cumin seeds & mustard seeds
7.)2 tsp ginger garlic paste
8.)1 medium capsicum roughly chopped
9.)1 & 1/2  tsp garam masala powder
10.)2 tsp chilli powder
11.)1/2 tsp turmeric powder
12.)1/2 cup coriander(dhaniya) chopped

Method:
1.)Roughly chop the onions add to a mixer &  make a fine puree out of it & keep aside .
2.)Now boil 2 tomatoes in a pressure cooker for 10 mins or till it is soft .
3.)Remove the tomatoes from cooker & make a puree out of it & keep aside.
4.)Now in a wok or a kadhai add oil and allow it to heat then add mustard seeds & allow it to crakcle.
5.)When the mustard seeds crackle add cumin seeds then giner garlic paste  saute for a minute.
6.)Now add onion puree & saute till the smell of raw onions disappear.
7.)Then add the tomato puree & saute till oil is released from the mixture.
8.)Now add all the masala like chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder & salt as per taste .
9.)Then stir the mixture so that all masla incorporates in the puree.
10.)Now add chopped babycorn and give it a quick toss so that all masala gets coated on the babycorn.
11.)Add 1 cup water & allow it to cook for 10 to 15 mins or till babycorn gets soft .
12.)Finally garnish with chopped coriander & 1/2 tsp butter .
