Tilgul Vadi

Tilgul Vadi /Sesame Barfi
This is a preparation prepared on festive occasion of "Makar Sankranti".It keeps the body warm in winter so just dig in it .

Ingredients:
1.)1/2 kg white sesame seeds
2.)1/2 cup chopped jaggery
3.)1 tsp ghee for greasing
4.)1 tsp elaichi powder
5.)2 tsp water (if required)

Method:
1.)Take a pan add the sesame seeds & dry roast them till they get golden brown in colour .
2.)Now remove the roasted sesame seeds in a plate & in the same pan add the chopped jaggery & stir it continues till the jaggery melts .
3.)As soon as jaggery melts add the roasted sesame seeds & elaichi powder stir till everything combines  well  .
4.)Now grease a plate & add the mixture .
5.)With a pizza cutter or knife cut the pieces when the mixture cools down completely.

Tip:
If the mixture gets  too hard while stirring then add 2 tsp water too make a perfect Tilgul Vadi .
